Sugarfree Dental is hands down the best dental clinic I have ever been to. From the moment I stepped into their modern and welcoming facility, I knew I was in good hands. The exceptional service provided by their highly skilled and friendly staff truly sets them apart from other dental clinics. What truly impressed me about Sugarfree Dental is their focus on patient comfort. The staff goes above and beyond to create a relaxing and calming environment, making even the most anxious patients feel at ease. They take the time to explain each procedure thoroughly and address any concerns or questions I had, ensuring that I felt confident and informed throughout my visit. Dr Yang is amazing and so are the whole staff.

Dr. Yang is one of the best if not THE best dentist in the greater Los Angeles area. I tried many dentists from West LA to Echo Park and Dr. Yang and staff stood out as the best. I’ve been coming to his office for 4 years now and have referred several friends and colleagues, all of which are now part of the Sugar Free Family!

Hands down the best dentist and staff around. Thoughtful, gentle, and thorough. Everything you would expect and more. Dr. Yang is always patient and makes sure everything is comfortable. Jasmine is a gem and the rest of the staff is knowledgeable and attentive. You never feel pressured or rushed. They are always very accommodating with my busy and fluid schedule. 100% recommended.

I’ve been coming to sugar free dental for years! Not only me but my husband and parents as well. It’s a family affair. We absolutely love him and his staff . I had the hugest anxiety over dentists and Dr. Yang and his staff have not only eased my anxiety but have completely have removed my fear over coming to the dentist. He has the softest hand when he’s working on you , he’s always focused on you and your well being while you’re sitting in his chair . When I set foot in his office or my extended family we always feel like we’re more at home than at a dentist appointment.

The best dental experience I have had! The staff was so friendly and greeted me from the moment I stepped in, including Dr. Yang himself who came up front to introduce himself. I arrived 10 mins before my appointment and was seen within 2 minutes of sitting down. My dental hygienist was great keeping up with conversation and offering me water and making sure I was comfortable through the whole experience. Dr. Yang was diligent and paid special attention to my dental needs as well as provided me with the medication, referral and care notes that I needed. I am making Dr. Yang and Sugarfree Dental my new dental care providers!

Dr. Yang and his staff is informative and comforting. Over all experience was amazing.

Like most people, I hate going to the dentist to the point of anxiousness. However, the office was comfortable, and the staff was incredibly efficient and communicative. Dr. Yang did a great job of explaining what needed to be done and giving me options with my insurance so I wouldn't be left with a surprise bill. He was honest and assuring. The staff had to make calls to my insurance company to get a clear understanding of my coverage (since I foolishly did not know myself)-- again, they did so with ease and efficiency. I hope they're the only dentist I ever go to.

Sugarfree Dental was so great! I came in to see if I can get my wisdom teeth removed, and Dr. Yang made sure that I was assessed thoroughly and that I understood everything about my x-rays. I was also greeted immediately as soon as I entered the door by Liz and Jasmine, who were both so great throughout the procedure as well. The kindness of the staff made me feel so comfortable and definitely helped calm my nerves. Dr. Yang made sure that I didn't feel any pain during the extraction and also talked me through the entire process, which I believe is so much better than just staring at the ceiling wondering what they're doing to you. Jasmine and Liz never took the smiles off their faces. All the employees at Sugarfree spent a good amount of time getting to know their patients while sharing some about them as well. As far as scheduling, they're very straightforward and will send you a lot of appointment reminders, which I thought was helpful. When there was a schedule conflict or an available spot that opened up before my appointment, Liz happily texted me about it to see if I wanted to move to the earlier appointment. I appreciate how much they consider their patient's time and schedule. I'll definitely be coming back to Sugarfree Dental :)

I love the family feel of Sugarfree. I’ve suffered from “Dentist Anxiety” my whole life & this is the first time where a Dentist & Staff have really heard my concerns & have worked through my fears. They have by far exceeded my expectations & I am so grateful to the whole entire staff. Always expect a warm welcome & big smiles from the entire team. Truly the best office ever!

I cannot say enough good things about this practice. As someone who avoids the dentist like the plague and usually spends the entire time in the chair clenching my fists with anxiety, I can honestly say that because of Dr. Kang and his team, I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist. From the first day I met him, Dr. Kang has been incredibly kind, patient, and honest. He and his team took my fears and sensitive teeth seriously and offered to do the cleaning by hand rather than with the ultrasonic tool, even though it takes longer and is more tiring for them. Dr. Kang never tries to sell me anything and is always very up front and genuine. The office staff is responsive and great at communicating. Thank you, Sugarfree Dental for taking such good care of me all these years!
